How do we know? Because we’ve been enjoying this amazing Arizona staycation spot for the past 4 years and it gets a little bit sweeter every time. We can’t wait to share with you all the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort amenities, benefits, and insider tips for consideration and to help you plan your next trip.

HILTON TAPATIO RESORT AMENITIES

  • The Falls Water Village, but read below because it’s so good it deserves its own section!
  • Wonderful, spacious rooms with gorgeous views
  • Adults-only pool & family-friendly pool outside of The Falls
  • Starbucks on site
  • Great dining from the brunch at Pointe in Tyme restaurant to poolside dining at Cascades Cafe in The Falls.
  • Lookout Mountain Golf Course hitting range is always a good time.
  • Fitness center plus they are renovating their pickleball and tennis courts!  They also have an outdoor ping-pong table near the courts.
  • Although we haven’t had a chance to visit yet, Tocaloma Spa and Salon offers quite the menu of relaxing spa and salon services.

 

SUMMER FUN AT THE FALLS WATER VILLAGE

  • 2 pools with zero-depth entrances + 2 hot tubs
  • Waterfalls everywhere! 
  • 138ft. water slide that is fast, furious and so much fun!
  • Rent a cabana – it’s 100% worth it providing shade and a private space for you and the family to gather and spread out a bit. They also offer a mini-fridge full of waters and it comes with a veggie platter and TVs. It’s very much a nap-friendly set up and perfect for the littles.
  • Bring water shoes – it’s Arizona, the ground is hot so bring them to walk from pool to pool or around the grounds. Plus if you spend a full day in the pool, the bottom of your feet will thank you later!
  • Order the frozen lemonade and fruity refreshers – so delicious, fun plus kid… and mom-approved.
  • Dive in Movie – on Saturday nights, they host a kid-friendly dive in movie!
  • Play the games – resort staff will walk the grounds inviting kids to play fun water games or participate in a variety of crafts in the Falls Terrace by the biggest waterfalls. Your child could play Duck, Duck, Splash or Water Balloon Toss or create Hop Scotch Chalk Art! It’s fun and we highly recommend you take the break to bring your kids over and participate.

Go for the cabana! It provides shade, misters, and fans to cool you off and allow you an all-day pool experience. Toys not included – we brought those but water toys and floaties are welcome and encouraged so pack ’em!

WILDLIFE WORLD ZOO VISIT

  • The zoo at a resort? YES! In the summer, Wildlife World Zoo, our West Valley AZ zoo that is located right off the AZ 303, stops by The Falls on Saturdays to educate and showcase a few critters to resort guests. It was an incredible experience and our littles ages 4 to 11 absolutely loved it. It was also a great pool & sun break allowing them to get hydrated and refuel with a veggie or fruit platter from Cascades Cafe!
