A little midday toast at @thetoastaz in Surprise, Arizona. They are bringing modern American cuisine with a Mediterranean twist and we are loving it!
We opted for sandwiches because you know that it’s our jam, but they also have salads flatbreads, appetizers like shrimp & feta, and entrees like steak & frites or pomegranate glazed salmon.
Also did you see that patio?? Hello, outdoor seating season! 👏 this beautiful Surprise restaurant is one light off the 303 and Bell. Make plans for your next ladies lunch or date night!

We are breaking up our regular content to show our faces because community, friendships and relationships are so important to us.
Although we aim to feature local West Valley Phoenix places, spaces and businesses… we want you to know we are real women who are raising up our families on this side of the Valley, too!
We care deeply about our community and the people who are grinding it out to live their dream while delivering a unique experience to enjoy with our loved ones.
Fun fact: We do not charge for our posts - we take donations based on what a small business owner thinks is fair or can afford at that time. And truthfully, 90% of our experiences / meals is paid for by us! So if you are a small business owner, reach out! We love to share, visit, experience and highlight.

Exchanged afternoon coffee for Black Coffee Chip sheep’s milk ice cream from @negranticreamery! 😋 🐑
Yum! We love ice cream and are so pumped to have an option close by that offers a treat we feel so good about! We also enjoyed a cup for Crazy Cookie - the perfect mix of Oreo & cookie dough.
@negranticreamery opened last year and it was their second AZ location. They are opening in Tempe later this year but we are so thrilled this mama owned scoop shop decided to find a home in West Valley Phoenix! 🤎

With a cookie?! Every sandwich comes with a fresh baked cookie at @mrpicklessandwichshops! What a sweet deal!
But first let’s back up - this new Peoria AZ sandwich spot opened near the famous four corners minutes off Loop 303 & Happy Valley Rd. Surprise, you have a location too!!
We had a late night and swung by to grab a ‘wich and head home, but wasn’t as quick as we thought it would be…
Why?!
Because the menu is 🔥 and it takes a minute to digest and decide! That said, due to little kids & late night, we opted for THE LISTEN LINDA on sourdough and we’re very impressed.
🥪 Turkey Breast, Bacon, Swiss, Avocado + “The Works” but we held out on The Works and think we should have opted in!
But .. like coffee shops … you judge a shop by a stable like a vanilla latte and if they crush it, you know the rest will be good! Well, we feel very confident the rest will be great!
